Entries must be written in English and in essay form with attention paid towards
Grammar and syntax, spellings and relevance to the topic.
Poems, short stories or fictions are not acceptable.
Entries must be typed in MS word format. Times new roman font size 12, double-line spaced and justified.
With the exclusion of title page which includes identifying information (student name, faculty, department, level, institution name, email address and date of submission), footnotes and references, each entry must be between 750-1,000 words.
Entries must be original i.e free from plagiarism.
All citations must be duely acknowledged
No co-authored work would be accepted.
Submissions must be made by email
All entries should be submitted on or before11:59pm on Monday,30th May, 2016.
Winners will be announced at the Public Lecture/Award ceremony day of the UCJ’s press Week.
Late entries will not be accepted.
